Key Factors Promoting Rapid Implementation of Virtual Screening Modalities for the COVID-19 Pandemic Response

Background: The COVID-19 (C-19) pandemic required swift response from health care organizations to mitigate spread and impact. A large integrated network rapidly deployed operationalized multiple access channels the community, allowing assessment triage occur virtually. These were characterized by implementation of virtual models, including asynchronous e-visits video visits for C-19 screening. Purpose: (1) Evaluate characteristics screening visits. (2) Identify volume other provided via (3) Discuss future implications expanded models. Methods: Retrospective analysis data visits, operational visit/screening volumes conducted. Results: Virtual implemented during first week testing was made available. During study period, primary clinicians conducted 10,673 31,226 with 9,126 26,009 patients, respectively. Within these 2 modalities, 4,267 tests ordered (10% visits). Four hundred forty-eight supported 24/7 modalities. Discussion: Given ongoing patient interest opportunity, services will continue be available an number symptoms diagnoses.
